Aquarias, the spa at the new private hotel Whatley Manor, is open only to hotel guests and a few invited members. There are no day members. No children. The result is a highly exclusive sensory experience delivering relaxation as you have never known it before.

The Spa

Based on European bathing culture, Aquarias is a true spa complete with Tepidarium, a sequence of thermal cabins including a Caldarium, Laconium and Camomile steam grotto. The beautifully designed hydrotherapy pool is an experience in its own right and one of the largest of its kind in the country. Guests can even swim outside and gaze over the 'infinity edge' to the gardens and valley below. The VIP suite with its own aromatherapy bath and unique 3 hour treatments is for couples seeking that extra seclusion.

Treatments

Aquarias is the only UK spa to feature one of La Prairie's five star 'The Art of Beauty' centres using exclusively La Prairie treatments. These centres are only found in the most exclusive hotels and spas throughout the World. La Prairie has developed several signature treatments just for Whatley Manor, a mark of its confidence in our commitment to excellence, luxury and the very highest standards of client care. La Prairie treatments use the healing power of touch combining elements of French effleurage, Japanese shiatsu and acupressure to relax and restore, leaving you with an over-all sense of wellbeing.

Activities

The gym is equipped with top-of-the-range cardio-vascular equipment including treadmills, cross-trainers, rowing machine, cycle and small selection of resistance equipment. The Studio offers personal coaching and training on a one-to-one and small group basis. Guests and members can choose from tai chi, yoga, pilates, and other exercises designed to relax, calm and stretch the body, and even bring their own personal trainer or ask us to book an instructor for them.
