Overview

In 2000 the brand bargrooves was launched in response to the emergence of late night bars as the alternative night's entertainment to clubs. bargrooves were to be the CD compilations to make sophisticated deep house available to a wider audience - namely people who had grown out of clubs and now frequented bars, restaurants and hotels but had grown up on a diet of house music - and two years later, the fully-fledged Seamless Recordings was born, taking the bargrooves compilation series to an international level.

Now up to the 9th release, the series, compiled by Ben Sowton himself with some help from other members of the extended Seamless family, bargrooves now enjoys a growing fan base and critical acclaim with 4 compilations released every year.  bargrooves comes to the White House in Clapham for the last Saturday of every month.  Residents Ben Sowton and Rob Wood are joined by a variety of homegrown and international guests, all of whom specialise in delivering the trademark bargrooves deep jazzy funky house sound.
