Beverley Knowles offers a tailored advice as to which pieces will work best for the client and brings a selection of art to the client’s home to view in situ, at a time that suits the client. She has created a relaxed and unpretentious approach to buying quality art at reasonable prices.

Location

Based in London, Beverley Knowles is a fine art dealer in contemporary and modern British art with eight years experience in the commercial art world. A graduate of Goldsmiths’ College with an MA in Contemporary Art, she began her career working for the highly respected Bond Street art dealer Anthony Mould Ltd and now runs her own business.

Art

The art work Beverley stocks and supplies is personally selected for its very high quality, longevity and suitability for the contemporary domestic or office environment. (The painting shown here is entitled Standing Tall by up-and-coming artist Karen Stamper.) Rather than working from a shop or gallery she supplies a very individual and tailored service to clients and potential clients by taking art around to their homes or offices herself. Together with the client she firstly discuss their requirements, usually in the location where the art work is to hang, so that she can see what is needed and advise as to what might be most suitable. Together they will look at images of art works together (either in print or electronically) so that she can ascertain the client’s tastes, likes and dislikes. She will then take a selection of suitable works around to their home or office so that they can see the art work in situ before having to make any decisions. If desired the client may keep the work for up to a week, whilst they live with it in their own environment and come to a decision as to whether it fulfils all their requirements or not. Beverley also provides full framing and hanging services by experienced professionals with whom she has worked for many years.

Service

There is absolutely no running around for the client, no chasing, no waiting – the client doesn’t even have to step out of their front door to find the perfect work of art. She is available for meetings and viewings 24 hours a day 7 days a week. She will supply what the client wants, when they want it.
