As the founder of Life Coach UK (and Charles Bentley Associates), over the last thirty years Charles Bentley PhD has worked in the UK, Europe and the USA as a professional agent of change, building a team of exceptionally talented and committed senior associates, all dedicated to channelling their experience and energy into maintaining the status of the company as the brand leader in what is still a new field.

Approach

Charles' unitive approach to personal and corporate coaching has evolved organically as a result of many years' experience in the field of human perception. Graduating in pharmaceutical chemistry at King's College in the University of London, professional research convinced him of the need for a radically different, individually empowering approach by which people could learn how to change themselves rather then be influenced by medication, indoctrination or other external means. After gaining a master's degree in the phenomenology of perception and a doctorate in gestalt psychology and group dynamics & setting up human potential courses, seminars and training facilities across Europe & this approach has gained widespread recognition and ensured that Charles Bentley Associates is recognised as the most prestigious corporate and personal coaching facility in Europe.

Clients

Charles has worked with many international companies and a widely eclectic range of institutions, including The National Health Service, the Burton Group PLC, Abbey Life Assurance Group, ICS Learning Systems Inc., the Franciscan Order at Westminster Cathedral, and currently the TUC/EEC sponsored life skills and learning project in the North West of England. He has appeared as a facilitative interviewer on BBC1 TV's 'Omnibus', ITV1 and on Channel 4 TV, and is regularly quoted in the quality national press as the senior UK authority on professional life coaching. During this time he has built up a very successful individual private practice, coaching media personalities, entrepreneurs and professionals holding key positions within business, entertainment and the arts.
