Overview

Situated in the heart of Mayfair, Embassy London launched in November 2001 to much acclaim. Named after the infamous 80's Embassy Club, it is the first of joint ventures between restaurateur, Mark Fuller and celebrated chef, Garry Hollihead.

Located in Mayfair, with the nearest tube stations being Green Park or Piccadilly.

Design

Independently designed, the restaurant is divided into three levels. The small terrace allows guests to dine "al fresco", perfect for light lunches or whiling away summer evenings. Floor to ceiling terraced windows stretch along the entire length of the upper restaurant providing great natural daylight, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The lower restaurant in contrast is less formal and encompasses a stylish bar ideal for pre-dinner cocktails.

The interior design is modern and contemporary with subtle furnishings of beige suede covered chairs, dark wood and subtle artwork this all combines to create a sophisticated environment in which to dine. A members' club is also available.

Cuisine

Embassy London offers modern European cuisine at it's best. Executive Chef, Garry Hollihead creates a luxurious, classic style of cooking with a slight modern twist. This is best demonstrated through the A La Carte Menu, which changes seasonally, taking full advantage of the freshest ingredients. Signature dishes such as Fillet of Beef Rossini, Fondant Potato, Spinach Puree, Foie Gras and Truffle Jus or Lobster and Roast Sea Scallops, Americaine are available. The Menu Du Jour alters on a daily basis and ensures regular diners always have a varied menu from which to choose. The large wine cellar compliments the cuisine and features an extensive and eclectic range from around the world.
