Overview

Seeing Forest Mere for the first time is a breathtaking experience. Beautiful, 150 acres of mysterious woodland leads you to a clearing where the magnificent lake frames the Mansion House. Inside, there is the UK 's first thalassotherapy pool, a 25-metre pool, and rejuvenating mud treatments in the twilight Rasul Chamber. Forest Mere also holds an Alternative Health Clinic where guests can experience a healing circle, and therapies from Reiki to Graphology.

Spa

All bedrooms are restful and allow space to reflect, with an en-suite bathroom, direct line telephone, colour TV, hairdryer, refreshment tray and a range of in-house toiletries. The United Kingdom's first Thalassotherapy salt-water hydro pool combines with other exceptional spa facilities including the unique Serail-Bad mud treatment rooms, a magnificent 25 metre indoor swimming pool with whirlpool and luxurious sauna and steam rooms. A varied selection of beauty treatments is available with professional, caring and fully trained staff. Balanced, nutritional and superbly prepared food is readily available in two restaurants, and the Spa Bar offers a wide selection of healthy beverages throughout the day.

There is an Alternative Health Clinic where guest can try therapies such as healing, palmistry, graphology, herbal medicine, to name just a few. Forest Mere has also recently won the prestigious Tisserand Aromatherapy Salon of the Year for its development of aromatherapy treatments. Forest Mere also offers unique Rasul Mud Chamber and a state of the art thalassotherapy pool, plus a range of leading treatments from Babor, Carita, Clarins, Decleor and Elemis.

For those who live life to the full there is no better place to keep fit, tone up and lose a few pounds. Forest Mere offers two fitness studios with a range of exercise and relaxation classes, computerised gymnasium with free weights area and an excellent selection of outdoor action activities. Guests wishing to unwind can relax in the comfortably appointed and beautifully designed lounge area. Summertime unveils a new dimension to Forest Mere with an outdoor heated pool and tennis court, breathtaking scenery with guided walks and rambles and beautiful views from the Terrace Café overlooking the lake.
