Overview

Originally the summer home of Marchesi Sersale, Le Sirenuse was converted in 1951 into the stunning hotel that it is today. The owners are dedicated to achieving the highest standards of luxury whilst maintaining the character of a family home. The food is exquisite and the surroundings magical.

Location

Positano is in the heart of the Amalfi coast - just 60 kms from Naples International Airport.

Accommodation

All Le Sirenuse's rooms are full of light and decorated with a combination of antique and contemporary furniture, contrasting cool whitewashed walls. The floors are covered with colourful tiles from Vietri. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the azure sea where at night the gentle sound of waves can be heard. The luxurious suites, located in the original part of the building, can be made up with one or two bedrooms. With vaulted ceilings, the suites are decorated with antique furniture, handmade tiles, old master paintings and watercolours. The junior suites are spacious and luxurious, having a beautiful balcony or terrace overlooking the sea.

Facilities

The hotel has a great restaurant, which overlooks the village of Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. There is a choice of three different menus and settings for meals. There are a number of sitting rooms throughout the hotel, which reflect the typical layout of an 18th century country house. Its bars offer impeccable service with interiors of period furniture, paintings, an abundance of vines and flowers and views to the Islands of the Sirens. Le Sirenuse boasts a number of terraces with breathtaking views. The pool terrace is the largest of all with potted lemon trees surrounding the pool making it perfect for sunbathing. The AVEDA concept spa adds a further indulgent aspect to the hotel, allowing guests to feel thoroughly pampered and relaxed.
