| VIP Services / Priority Pass |
Overview Priority Pass was launched in 1992 with the objective of providing frequent travelers with airport lounge access, irrespective of their class of travel, airline flown or existing membership in an airline loyalty program. Today, more than half a million people carry a Priority Pass card whenever they travel and every year many thousands more enjoy the benefits that the Priority Pass card brings to them. Benefits Members enjoy the following privileges at airport lounges around the world: Peace and quiet - the chance to relax before the flight; Refreshments and snacks - no need to queue for expensive airport food; Full use of facilities - most lounges offer phones, fax machines, email, Internet access and even conference rooms. Lounges In just 11 years, Priority Pass have become the world's largest independent airport lounge access program. Starting with just 55 lounges in only 49 airports, in 2003 they now work with over 400 lounges in 220 cities in over 75 countries in every continent of the world and their network of lounges continues to grow. How does it work? Each member is issued with a personalised membership card, lounge directory and unique pin number to access the member-only pages on their Web site; for the most up-to-date lounge information available. When visiting a lounge, the member presents their membership card to the lounge reception and a record of visit voucher will be issued for to sign. If they have guests, these will also be recorded. Members can then simply relax and enjoy the comfort of an airport VIP lounge away from the commotion of the busy airport terminal. |
