Location

Shamwari Game Reserve is situated at the end of the Garden Route of South Africa and only 40 minutes by road from Port Elizabeth.

The 20,000 hectare reserve boasts five eco-systems, thus enabling the support of many forms of plant, animal and bird life with an option of up to six separate luxury lodges. Long Lee Manor, originally built in 1910, offers a distinctive Colonial experience. Khaya Lendaba, the African Arts and Culture Village, is a vibrant depiction of the various African cultures. Bushmans River Lodge is a unique historical site that has been beautifully restored. Lobengula Lodge is a truly traditional African experience, tucked deep in the valley bushveld. Riverdene Lodge is a restored Settler Lodge with ethnic African interiors & spacious public areas. Bayethe Lodge offers the ultimate in luxury, tented accommodation. Eagles Crag Lodge is an avante-guard masterpiece of thatch, stone and glass for the most discerning of traveller who is looking for privacy and tranquility.
