Location

Singita has exclusive lodges to the west of the world-renowned Kruger National Park in the Singita Private Game Reserve, as well as Singita Lebombo on the eastern border of Kruger National Park.

Constructed of glass, slatted wood and bleached branches, Sweni Lodge, pictured right, maintains the modern lines of Lebombo rationalised with classic lines and a time-honoured palette. Lastly, once a private bush retreat, Castleton Camp has opened its doors for the exclusive use of families and small groups of up to twelve guests

September 2004 - Singita Private Game Reserve, South Africa’s celebrated safari destination, has been crowned ‘Best in the World’ at Conde Nast Traveller (UK) magazine’s 7th annual reader Travel Awards ceremony in London. This is the second major international travel poll to name Singita World No. 1 this year after the readers of Travel & Leisure in the USA gave this exclusive African property their vote.

Singita Private Game Reserve propelled to the No. 1 spot in the Conde Nast Traveller (UK) poll by attaining the highest score overall of 97.08% and a flawless 100 in three criteria: location, environmental friendliness and accommodation.
