The Avenue Restaurant takes its name from the elegant mile long avenue of ancient lime trees that lays before the windows of the restaurant.

Location

The Avenue Restaurant at Lainston House is minutes away from the historic city of Winchester and only a short drive from Salisbury , Stonehenge and the New Forest. A perfect location from which to explore.

Menu

Thoughtfully prepared dishes offer an ideal blend of traditional cooking with simplicity, freshness and purity. The extensive menu is ostensibly English with a regional French influence.

On Friday and Saturday nights, the culinary talents of the Chef are put to good order with this very special Gourmand Menu. Six courses, using fresh local produce, are prepared to tempt the palate. This runs parallel to the extensive a la carte menu which is available seven nights a week.

Afternoon tea is also a treat, eating outside or beside one of the roaring fires.
