Accommodation

Each of The Capital's 48 air-conditioned suites and bedrooms is individually designed, luxurious and supremely comfortable. Every piece of furniture, work of art and accoutrement is hand picked or, indeed, commissioned by the Levin family in order to imbue each room with a charm of its own. The exquisite interiors incorporate the work of acclaimed names from the world of British design such as Nina Campbell, and David Linley, nephew of Her Majesty The Queen. The criteria in their design was the creation of rooms of sublime comfort, with the emphasis on refined elegance.

Awards

The Capital Hotel and The Capital Restaurant has received numerous awards and accolades in recent years. The Capital Hotel has won first prize at this year's Gosset Trophée Celébris. The award recognises fine dining establishments with outstanding wine lists. In February 2003, The Capital restaurant for the third year also retained two Michelin star status, one of the only hotel restaurants to possess this accolade.
