Overview

The Capital Restaurant's Eric Chavot has a following across five continents. His innovative style of cooking is acclaimed by the most discriminating of restaurant critics. In the words of AA Gill, a Sunday Times columnist and connoisseur of fastidious discernment, "This is as good as you can eat in London."

Location

The Capital Restaurant is situated in the Capital Hotel, a quiet yet central Knightsbridge location, one-minute walk from Knightsbridge Underground Station. Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the designer shops of Sloane Street, Beauchamp Place and the Brompton Arcade are just yards away.

Decor

The Capital Restaurant is stylishly decorated by renowned British designer Nina Campbell and the façade handcrafted by David Linley. Naturally lit by day and softly illuminated by chandeliers in the evening, the restaurant attracts discriminating gourmets from around the world. Perfect for business or social lunches and dinners, The Capital Restaurant is also a fitting setting for a celebration with colleagues and friends, corporate entertaining, or dining à deux.

Head Chef Eric Chavot

Out of the Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White stable, Head Chef Eric Chavot's cooking is French inspired, delicately seasoned and complemented by the fine Limoges porcelain on which it is presented. In recognition of his innovative cooking and exemplary service the restaurant has achieved the distinction of two Michelin stars for three years running; an honour shared by just a handful of London hotels.
