This is the latest addition to Mark Fuller and Michelin starred chef Garry Hollihead's portfolio; a boutique hotel in the theme of their critically acclaimed Embassy Restaurant and Private Members Bar in Mayfair.

Location

Situated in the picturesque village of Cookham Dean and aptly named after the perfect village cricket green that it overlooks, The Inn on The Green provides a tranquil and relaxing escape from the city.

Restaurant

Whether planning a dinner for thirty or a cosy table for two by the log fire, the Inn offers superb food from Michelin-starred chef Garry Hollihead. With Garry Hollihead lending his skills to oversee the restaurant (60 covers inside, 100 outside in summer) the menu offers many of the Michelin starred Embassy signature dishes such as fillet of venison "Wellington" with truffle sauce, sea bass, lemon thyme and parsley risotto and baby squid with tomato butter sauce. The unusual layout of the restaurant, split over three inter connecting rooms, one being a fabulous conservatory, gives an intimate warmth. Retiring to the bar after dinner to laze in an enormous armchair gives the opportunity to meet other guests or to relax in front of the traditional country log fire.

Accommodation

The Inn's traditional country house exterior gives way to sumptuous interior design: a wood beamed bar is surrounded by 'London Glam' interiors, a huge sumptuous red velvet sofa and an oversized Louis Vuitton trunk disguised as a table. Interior designers Argent Design have added their impeccable taste and glamorous touch to the Inn in both the dining rooms and deluxe bedrooms. Awarded the 'Idyllic Inn' award by 'Which Hotel Guide', The Inn's 9 rooms have each been thoughtfully designed and every room contains carefully selected furniture to match its individual style. Sky television and DVD is available in all rooms. All rooms are en-suite
