Boutique Hotels / The London Outpost

Overview

Peace and quiet are difficult to find in any great capital city, but The London Outpost of Bovey Castle has achieved a unique level of privacy and exclusivity which transcends that found at even the very best hotels in the world. Once a grand private residence, The Outpost has now been beautifully restored for the enjoyment of house guests, with eleven charming bedrooms of various sizes, all of which are fully air conditioned.

Location

Beautiful Cadogan Gardens with private access for the Outpost house guests provides a perfect setting for a special stay in London. The location is superb - Harrods and the Victoria & Albert Museum in Knightsbridge are within a few minutes walk and Peter Jones in Sloane Square is only one hundred yards away. The Outpost also provides easy access to theatreland and the City by taxi or underground from Sloane Square.

Accommodation

Each room has its own ensuite bathroom and is named after a famous English writer or artist who lived nearby. The atmosphere is relaxed and the ambience elegant. There are fine oil paintings and marble busts throughout and the rooms are all furnished with period English antiques.

Facilities

All house guests may enjoy the relaxing ambience of the drawing room, library, snooker room and the delightful conservatory where breakfast and light meals may be taken. Room service breakfast is a special feature with a large selection of traditional dishes. Light meals from the room service menu are also available and the wine list has been carefully chosen.
