There are also separate male and female relaxation rooms overlooking the bay.

Location

The recently developed Cardiff Bay area, in which the hotel is located, is only five minutes from the city centre. Adjacent to the hotel is Mermaid Quay which offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and entertainment, providing a vibrant extension to the attractions within the city centre. The new Welsh Parliament and the Welsh National Opera will also be found there.

Among the facilities available at the St David's Spa are: the Marine walk in pool, swan-neck fountains, Underwater loungers with high pressure water jets, eight-person jacuzzi Bath, high-power jet blitz shower for stimulating blood circulation and circulatory massage, seaweed and mud wraps, 15m Exercise pool, sauna, gymnasium and ayruvedic specialist treatments.

Children are able to use the 15 metre ozone swimming pool between certain times.
