Overview

Champneys Tring pioneered the concept of holistic health of treating the whole person: mind, body and soul. The Rothschild Mansion is set in 170 acres of parklands and retains its period mansion style, with a classical music room, a light and airy morning room, drawing room and a games room with a snooker table, chess and board games.

Spa

Tring has a beautiful indoor pool and Jacuzzi to unwind in. For those summer days, Tring also has a heated outdoor Jacuzzi. A thalassotherapy pool is planned as part of a refurbishment programme in the near future.

Treatments

Tring offers a vast range of beauty therapies and alternative health therapies with treatments like Esalen massage and Ayurvedic therapies available. Champneys also provides medical services and cosmetic surgery.

Activities

Tring offers activities for mind, body and soul. Relaxation can be obtained in the music room, there is an Art and Craft Studio open all day where guests can unwind with drawing or painting. There are a daily schedule of activities from aerobics based classes to tai chi and meditation. There is a fully equipped gymnasium and squash court and, for the summer months, Tring offers guided walks and planned cycle rides, a croquet lawn, two tennis courts, a giant outdoor chess set, an organic garden and an outdoor hot tub are also available.
